UK equipment rental titan expands plant fleet with excavators
Flannery Plant Hire recently added a total of 62 mini excavators manufactured by Kubota to its massive existing fleet.
A compact earthmoving machine, the Kubota KX016-4 is primarily used for digging, landscaping, trenching and utility installation in more confined spaces where larger equipment is not suitable for work.
Each new machine will come paired with a trailer designed by Ifor Williams Digadoc and is equipped with an Epiroc hydraulic breaker and a Whites quick hitch, plus a bucket selection. This configuration lets users rapidly deploy the gear behind a light commercial vehicle, improving productivity and guaranteeing the swiftest possible response times.
Durable disc springs, sometimes called conical spring washers or Belleville washers, are crucial components employed in Kubota mini excavators. They are commonly installed in specific linkage assemblies, control joints and pivot points where they effectively maintain continuous tension, take up axial play and decrease joint wear during operational vibration. Smaller spring washers or disc springs are also used in various lever pivot, throttle and accelerator brackets to supply pre-load tension or repeatable friction as required.
Patrick Flannery Senior founded the respected equipment hire company in 1972 with only one backhoe loader. Today, it is based in Wembley, London, with an extensive network of skill hubs and depots throughout Ireland and the UK. The company’s current fleet exceeds 7,000 assets that support construction, utilities and infrastructure projects nationwide.
Flannery Plant Hire is widely recognised as being among the largest self-drive plant hire enterprises in the country.
